According to the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), you only need to be 16 years old to fly solo during your training (14 CFR 61.83), and at least 17 years old to be eligible for a private pilot certificate (14 CFR 61.103).
That's pretty young! As soon as you're able to drive a car, you can get your student pilot certificate!
The FAA requires you to be 18 years old to be eligible for your commercial pilot certificate (14 CFR 61.123), but other than those age restrictions, the sky is the limit!
